Hampstead, NH town center

If you are considering moving to or in New Hampshire, Epping, NH is quickly becoming one of the best southern New Hampshire towns to call home. You might think with a population of just over 7,036, there would not be much to this small town, but Epping and the surrounding area have a lot to offer and its living up to its nickname as the "Center of the Universe".

Community Events

Kickoff Fall with HIGHNOTE Festival! The Annual Balloon, Music and Fireworks Festival to benefit the Adam McPhee Memorial Foundation is an annual event that has attracted over 500 attendees for the past 20 years.

Gain a true sense of community by attending the Spring Carnival in June or attending a show at the Community theater. Despite being a small New Hampshire town, there are many events to meet your fellow town members.

Proximity to Major Cities

The beauty of scenic New Hampshire is at your back door while you still have easy access to city life. In about a half hour, you can make your way to Manchester or Portsmouth while Portland and Boston are just over an hour away. Each city has its appeals. Boston has a lot of history and beautiful views. You can spend the day shopping at Faneuil Hall or walking the Freedom Trail, then sit down at a nice restaurant for dinner. Manchester has many activities for all different interests. It is home to the Currier Museum of Art, the Palace Theatre, and the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, where you can catch a New Hampshire Fisher Cats game. Portsmouth is a beautiful coastal city; you can take a walking tour or hop on one of the harbor cruises to experience all of the sights. The cities are close by, but at the end of the day, you can make your way back to your small, quiet hometown.

Opportunities for an Active Lifestyle

Staying active is essential to many people, and the trails throughout Epping are a great way to do that. With countless trail route options between the town’s multiple conservation areas, you’ll feel a real sense of New Hampshire and its natural habitat.

If you are interested in more of a challenge, you can head to nearby Pawtuckaway State Park and explore the many trails it has to offer.

Summers on the Beach

During the summer months, you can soak up the sunshine by the ocean or on a lake. Hampton Beach is under a 30-minute drive from Epping, and you can spend the day on the beach or take a walk down the boardwalk to enjoy some beach pizza and fried dough. The Lakes Region is about 1 hour away and you can spend the day on one of the public beaches on any of the lakes or rent a boat for a day out on the water. Whether you prefer the ocean or a lake, New Hampshire has it.

By Lewis Builders 12 May, 2021
At Lewis Builders, the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We have been closely monitoring COVID-19 (coronavirus). Lewis Builders has advised all employees that if they are experiencing any symptoms to remain home as a precaution so as not to infect co-workers or customers they may come in contact with, and to notify us if they have traveled to any areas of concern. We are currently maintaining normal operations and advise all to follow the most current guidance from the Center for Disease Control, as well as state and local agencies. As the spread of the coronavirus has evolved, our continued focus has been on the health and safety of our employees and our customers. Main Office: Our main office at 54 Sawyer Ave is currently open to the public at normal operating hours. Please check back often as this may change. Tenants and Rental Applicants: If we do need to schedule maintenance, our team may ask you questions such as whether or not you have tested positive for COVID-19, have been asked to voluntarily quarantine yourself or if you or anyone in your home is ill or has been within the last 14 days . We ask you to answer these questions honestly, so that employees can take the appropriate steps to protect themselves from infection if a home visit is required. We have also developed a new Virtual Resident Center where you can make payments, submit requests, or apply online. If you have any questions or concerns regarding rentals, feel free to contact us at 603-362-5333 or email rentals@lewisbuilders.com .
