A NH hometown that is centrally located and conveniently close to MA, the Seacoast, and Manchester.

Finding a hometown that has it all is hard. You can enjoy the great selection of restaurants in Manchester, but be just far enough out of reach of the beautiful New Hampshire beaches to make it a hassle to get to. You can enjoy the fantastic sunrises of Portsmouth, but be a little deterred from checking out all the historical sites in Lowell or Methuen because of the drive time.

Geographically, Danville is right in the center of all these great areas of NH with travel time being less than an hour to most of the bigger destinations. We explored all the great New Hampshire and Massachusetts interests that were accessible to the town, and this is what we found.

Manchester, NH - 35 Minutes

Manchester is New Hampshire's biggest city, and offers plenty of things to do for a day visit or a night out on the town.

The city maintains 900 acres of parks, playgrounds, swimming pools, and a public beach. There are also sports complexes throughout Manchester which provide an opportunity for ice skating, hockey, roller derby, and more.

One of the city's biggest draws is the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, home of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. The Fisher Cats are the double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, and offer family-friendly promotions and events throughout the season.

Manchester also hosts an eclectic mix of restaurants and bars which provide you with all you need for a great date night. Enjoy a drink and a meal and enjoy a production at the Palace Theatre or marvel at some of the great art hosted at museums and galleries like the Currier museum and the New Hampshire Institute of Art.

Portsmouth, NH - 43 Minutes

Portsmouth, NH, the Granite State's former capital, is a beautiful town along the coast the offers everything from delicious restaurants, tremendous arts, and fascinating history programs.

Portsmouth is truly one of the biggest and most artistic cities in the state. The city hosts big venues like the 3S Artspace and the Music Hall. Ever summer, the city puts together a summer-long free festival in Prescott Park that draws nationally touring music act to local theater troupes.

Portsmouth also has different tours for every type of attraction. The Portsmouth Harbour Trail & Guided Tours is great for learning about the historic homes, legendary tugboats, and other things unique to Portsmouth. Granite State Growler Tours is perfect for craft beer enthusiasts looking to tour some of the great breweries we have in New Hampshire. The Port City Bike Tours offer a premier introduction to the city and lets you exercise while you do it!

Massachusetts Border/I-93 - 33 Minutes

At just a little over half an hour, you can reach Interstate Route 93, which extends as far south as Canton, Massachusetts and as far north as St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The route exists wholly in New England and is a gateway to major cities and landmarks such as Boston, MA; Concord, NH; Lake Winnipesaukee ; and the Merrimack River.

It also accesses the beautiful and historic cities of Northern Massachusetts. Places like Methuen, Lowell, and North Andover have historic neighborhoods that are great to walk through and admire during any of New England's four great seasons.

Danville, NH is surrounded by all the wonderful things that New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts have to offer. Then at the end of the day, you can always return to your cozy neighborhood where there is peace whenever you want there to be. By Lewis Builders 12 May, 2021
At Lewis Builders, the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We have been closely monitoring COVID-19 (coronavirus). Lewis Builders has advised all employees that if they are experiencing any symptoms to remain home as a precaution so as not to infect co-workers or customers they may come in contact with, and to notify us if they have traveled to any areas of concern. We are currently maintaining normal operations and advise all to follow the most current guidance from the Center for Disease Control, as well as state and local agencies. As the spread of the coronavirus has evolved, our continued focus has been on the health and safety of our employees and our customers. Main Office: Our main office at 54 Sawyer Ave is currently open to the public at normal operating hours. Please check back often as this may change. Tenants and Rental Applicants: If we do need to schedule maintenance, our team may ask you questions such as whether or not you have tested positive for COVID-19, have been asked to voluntarily quarantine yourself or if you or anyone in your home is ill or has been within the last 14 days . We ask you to answer these questions honestly, so that employees can take the appropriate steps to protect themselves from infection if a home visit is required. We have also developed a new Virtual Resident Center where you can make payments, submit requests, or apply online. If you have any questions or concerns regarding rentals, feel free to contact us at 603-362-5333 or email rentals@lewisbuilders.com .
